The Rundown: Jumpscare faces off against the monster that stole her sister.

A mutant called Grindhouse has kidnapped Jumpscare’s sister in an attempt to lure her to his location. Jumpscare decides to take the fight to Grindhouse and storms his lair defeating his minions until she reaches and rescues her sister.
As the two battle, Grindhouse tells her that there is a bigger threat coming and that he lured her there to ask for her help. Unfortunately, Jumpscare won’t have much time to ponder his offer when agents of a dark power attack and manage to take everyone with them.
The Story: Bunn crafts a thrilling, fun and intense story in this issue. I continue to love the world being built in this series and this story creates some truly terrifying and interesting villains. I was immersed in the story and how intense and brutal it became in the fight between Jumpscare and Grindhouse. I love how the story ends on a cliffhanger and look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Luckert delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the character and monster designs a lot and the brutal visuals enhance the dark and intense story.
